We help manufacturers worldwide bring safer products to you faster with Global Market Access, a “one-stop shop” for product certification in multiple markets.
Green Watch
With the focus on environmental concerns, UL recognizes the need for and is developing new, relevant and reliable standards for environmental sustainability and will certify products to meet these standards through UL Environment. UL Environment tests and validates environmental claims such as recycled content, energy efficiency and water efficiency so you can feel confident about your green product choices.
Leading LED Safety
As the demand for energy efficiency and cleaner technology grows, light emitting diodes (LEDs) are turning up everywhere from general indoor and outdoor lighting to novelty necklaces. UL’s first Safety Standard for Light Emitting Diode equipment helps make them safer.
On a Mission
UL is expanding around the globe to spread its Public Safety Mission. By acquiring additional facilities, we can provide manufacturing customers greater capacity and expertise for testing and validating products.
